Reasons Why a WYSIWYG Editor Wont Open
If you ever find yourself in a situation where you click the green icon to open the WYSIWYG editor... and nothing happens, it may be a configuration issue. An issue was found on one of our sites this week, where the WYSIWYG editor width was set to 100%% (notice the extra percentage sign).
If you are having this issue, try looking at the Global Preferences (accessed through the System Configuration icon in the top right, and then the drop-down box) for the WYSIWYG Content Type Preferences. In there is a WYSIWYG Style section that contains a Width box. If you only have a single text box, ensure the value is something like "100%". If you have a text box and a drop-down box, ensure the text box has a value like "100" and the percentage sign is selected in the drop-down box. If the value in the text box is "100%", the editing interface will add an additional percentage sign for you and stop the WYSIWYG editor from opening.
The other common problem is that the WYSIWYG Content Type asset is not locked, but the DIV asset is locked. In this case, the DIV will print its editing interface but the WYSIWYG wont (because you don't have write access). Go to the Dependants screen of the bodycopy to verify that all dependant assets are locked. If they aren't, release the locks on the bodycopy and re-acquire them.

Proxy Authentication
Added to: 3.9.0 development
When using some MySource Matrix features, like Remote Content and the Links Report, the application server has to make requests to external URLs. If the application server has a proxy in front of it, these MySource Matrix features would not work correctly. MySource Matrix now has new proxy configuration options to allow you to specify the proxy that your application server uses to connect to external URLs. You can find them in System Configuration.

Notes:
Bug #1254 (Asset map does not expand for backend user) was submitted by Jad but was marked as not being a bug as the problems were caused by the user not having read access to the asset.
Bug #1264 (Global search and replace fails) was submitted by Avi but was marked as Can Not Replicate after the problem could not be reproduced on other systems.
Bug #1266 (Failed opening hipo_job_reindex.inc) was submitted by Ben Caldwell but was marked as a duplicate of bug #1264, which could not be replicated. This bug report has been closed.
Bug #1269 (failure to install on laptop with local servername and no TLD) was submitted by Jad but was marked as not being a bug as this is a server configuration issue and not an application defect.
Feature Request #1274 (Is it possible to prevent the usual right click behaviour on a Mac?) was submitted by Raena but was marked as not being a bug as the issue can not be replicated and does not appear to be something MySource Matrix can control in any case.
