New Features

LDAP Users Get an Inbox

Added to: 3.9.0 development

LDAP users can now access their inbox to view, send and delete internal messages. Their inbox is accessed through the MySpace tab of the asset map, the same as normal MySource Matrix users.

View HTMLTidy Status While Editing

Added to: 3.9.0 development

A new icon now appears at the top of the DIV or TABLE cell editing toolbar (near the properties and the WYSIWYG icon) that indicates if HTMLTidy has been run on the content. A grey icon indicates that HTMLTidy is disabled and is not running on the piece of content. A yellow icon indicates that HTMLTidy has never been run on the content. A green icon indicates that HTMLTidy was able to clean the content last time the content was committed. A red icon indicates that HTMLTidy failed to clean the content (for whatever reason) last time the content was committed.

Release Locks Button in Simple Edit

Added to: 3.9.0 development

A new keyword can now be used in simple edit layouts to allow you to print a "release locks" button. When the release locks button is pressed, the locks on the asset are released and the user exits simple edit mode. The new keyword is .

Release all Locks you Hold

Added to: 3.9.0 development

Users can now release all locks they currently hold in the system by selecting an option on their details screen. The details screen can be accessed through the MySpace tab of the asset map. To release all locks a user holds, you must have admin access to that user account.

Auto-redirect to Forced HTTPS URLs

Added to: 3.9.0 development

When a user navigates to a HTTP URL for a page that forces the use of a HTTPS URL, the user will now be redirected to the correct HTTPS URL instead of showing a page not found error.

Edit Internal Message Settings

Added to: 3.9.0 development

There is now a drop-down option in the System Configuration section of the administration interface that allows you to edit the internal message settings of the system. This includes deciding which messages are logged to the database and which are sent via email. Previously, these configuration settings had to be changed manually through the messaging_service.conf file.

Export Links Report to CSV

Added to: 3.9.0 development

The links report shows you all the links and their status for a section of your system. The report can now be exported to a CSV file for processing and storage outside of MySource Matrix.

Filter Links Report

Added to: 3.9.0 development

The links report now gives you the option of hiding any of the main linking sections (internal, external and mailto links) so you can customise the report for your requirements. You can also choose to show only broken or only working links inside each of those linking sections.

Notes:

Bug #1172 (css file assets' classes are not picked up in wysiwyg) was submitted by Matt Keehan but was marked as Not a Bug as the poster misunderstood the use of the CSS File asset.

Bug #1177 (_edit interface occasionally mangles links) was submitted by Raena but was marked as Can Not Replicate after the bug could not be replicated on any branch and the poster confirmed that the bug can not always be reproduced.

Bug #1179 (Assets move in bulk - asset map order not retained) was submitted by KateN but was marked as Will Not Fix because the bug is fixed in versions 3.8.0+ and cannot be back-ported to the 3.6 branch due to a rewrite of part of the asset map being required.

Bug #1181 (Asset Listing Inherit Broken) was submitted by Richard but was marked as Not a Bug after it could not be replicated. This is most likely an error in the custom asset built for Richard, and so is client specific and will be removed from the public bug tracker.
