clean.sh Now Works With Oracle
The scripts/dev/clean.sh script, used to clear out and re-install a MySource Matrix system in place, now works on Oracle 9i systems.
New Features
No new generic features have been added to MySource Matrix this week.

Dynamic Paramters For DB Data Source

New functionality is being developed in the DB Data Source to allow for dynamic queries of the form: SELECT * FROM table WHERE column = %%VARIABLE%%
In this query, %%VARIABLE%% is a keyword whose value is extracted from the environment (GET/POST/Current User/Current Site/Current Asset) using a parameter map. These variables can be used anywhere within a manually-configured query. This feature will greatly reduce the number of assets required because this asset will represent many similar queries instead of just one.

Bug #2347 (DB Data Source error breaks edit interface) was reported by Andrei Railean but was marked as Not a Bug by its creator.
Bug #2348 (Standard Page Javascript Code Crashes) was reported by Amit Ashokkumar Ganatra but was marked as Can Not Replicate after two developers were unable to reproduce the bug.
Bug #2352 (WYSIWYG Popups Focus) was submitted by aganatra but was marked as Not a Bug because the window.focus function has been disabled by default in newer version of Firefox.
