covers versions 3.12.7 stable, 3.14.3 stable, 3.16.0 RC1, 3.17.0 development
The first stable and supported release of the new 3.16.x branch of MySource Matrix, version 3.16.0, will be released next Monday, 3rd September 2007. This release branch contains about 50 new features and improvements over the previous (3.14.x) branch. A number of bugs have also been fixed from the 3.16.0 RC1 release.
Versions 3.14.4 and 3.12.8 of MySource Matrix will also be released on Monday. These are predominantly bug-fix releases to the current stable branches of Matrix. Users are encouraged to upgrade from previous releases to these new ones when they're out.
Please note that 3.12.8 is the last supported version of MySource Matrix 3.12.x to be released. Bugs will only be identified and fixed in the 3.14.x and 3.16.x branches from now on.
A heads-up: the MySource Matrix International User Conference, to be held at the Radisson Resort on the Gold Coast, begins Thursday week, 13th September.
It's still not too late to register for this inaugural event, which includes keynotes, case studies, and other presentations designed for you to get the most out of your MySource Matrix investment. Apart from advice on content management, topics such as accessibility and web standards are also covered. The conference will also feature the first public preview of the upcoming MySource version 4.
For further information on the conference, please visit the Squiz web site, which includes a full conference program and and links to registration. Alternatively, please phone our Sydney office on +61 2 8507 9900.
As you may or may not know, next Friday (7th September) has been declared a public holiday in Sydney due to the APEC leaders' conference being held here. Therefore, the next MySource Matrix newsletter will be released next Thursday, rather than Friday.
