covers versions 3.12.4 stable, 3.14.0 stable, 3.15.0 development
Just a quick heads-up: new bug-fix releases of MySource Matrix (3.14.1 and 3.12.5) will be released next Monday, 4th June.
This should have been in last week's newsletter but wasn't: the MySource Matrix support forums were upgraded last week to Invision Power Board (now IP.Board) 2.2. As a part of this upgrade, summaries of this developer newsletter (taken from the newsletter's RSS feed) are now cross-posted to the public "Developers" forum.
Added to: 3.15.0 development
This new tool allows backend users to clear or repopulate the MySource Matrix cache for an asset, similar to options provided in the Cache Manager asset (which are only available to System Administrators). A one-off or repeating Cron Job can also be created from this tool by setting the appropriate fields.
Added to: 3.15.0 development
Major work on the Online Quiz asset concluded this week. The changes made to Online Quiz this week include:
- When "Use HTML for Question Option Text" is set to "Yes" on an Online Quiz Question, the Option Text editing area is changed to a WYSIWYG cell.
- An Online Quiz Submission asset has been created for submission logging, similar to Custom Form submissions.
Added to: 3.15.0 development
Two new keywords, %cart_summary_text% and %form_summary_text%, have been provided to output a text-only version of the cart and form summaries.
To be added to : 3.15.0 development
Estimated start date: pending
Estimated end date: June 2007

Bug #2405 ("Insert image/link/movie pop not working", reported by pelmen on 18th May) was marked as Can Not Replicate today as a result of no feedback. This bug was reported as part of a 3.12-to-3.14 upgrade; a developer had attempted this upgrade without replicating it, and no feedback had been received since then.
Bug #2421 ("Deleting applied metadata schema fails at 33%", reported by James Hunter on 28th May) was marked as a duplicate of bug #2220 ("Removing metadata schemas fails", reported by Tom Barrett on 8th March), which was found and fixed in the same version (3.12.2) the new bug was reported in. The duplicate bug has been closed.
Bug #2424 ("Asset Builder vs Subscribe Page to add Bulkmail users", reported by mat.valdman on 30th May) was marked as Not a Bug. The bug described a situation where a Bulkmail User cannot be subscribed to additional lists using an Asset Builder (due to a requirement that e-mail addresses be unique), something that is handled specifically in the Bulkmail Subscribe Page by re-using the existing asset. This is by design; this functionality is outside the scope of Asset Builder.
