There is no general MySource Matrix developer news this week.
New Features
Nest Content: Paint Layout Options
Added to: 3.15.0 development
The Nest Content Content Type previously styled nested assets "raw" (ie. according to their printBody() function, without any paint layout applied). Now it also allows assets to be styled with a paint layout based on the current URL, or with an arbitrary paint layout.
Remove Form Submissions Script
Added to: 3.15.0 development, 3.14.2 stable, 3.12.6 stable
A new script, scripts/remove_form_submission.php, allows you to remove all form submission assets underneath a custom form between two dates.
This script is run from the command line like this:
$ scripts/remove_form_submission.php [SYSTEM ROOT] [FORM ASSETID] [FROM DATE] [TO DATE]
Note that the date fields should be provided in 'YYYY-MM-DD' format, and both from and to dates must be provided.
Thesaurus Improvements
Added to: 3.15.0 development
A couple of minor improvements were made to the Thesaurus system this week. They are summarised thusly:
- The Thesaurus asset now implements the getChildren() function, so that thesaurus terms can be properly listed underneath an asset listing.
- The Set Tag trigger action now uses a parameter map to allow tag IDs to be assigned dynamically.
