Further Fix to Upgrade Data Dirs Script

There was a further change to the upgrade_data_dirs.php script in 3.12 and development versions. There was an issue where lookup records were being changed based on a partial match of the asset ID, resulting in an incorrect hash; for instance, when trying to change the hash for asset ID 123, it would change the hash for asset ID 12345 to the same (and in this case, incorrect) value.

If you are experiencing these problems - particularly for upgraded systems from 3.10 to later versions - then re-run the upgrade_data_dirs.php script with the "--fix-lookups" option. For further information on other switches, run the script without any parameters for the usage statement.

New Features

Form Submissions Now in a Folder

Added to: 3.13.0 development

Instead of storing form submissions as a TYPE_3-linked child of the Custom Form, they are now stored in a separate Submissions folder, located underneath the Form Contents asset. Form submissions remain TYPE_3-linked to this new folder when created.

Existing forms will create the Submissions folder in the Custom Form upgrade script (run during step_03.php). However, any existing submissions need to be moved into the Submissions folder after the upgrade, if you wish to keep them afterward. This can be done using the upgrade_form_submission_linking.php script, located in the scripts directory.

Planned Development

No new generic features are currently scheduled for development.

Upgrading

3.13.0 Development

Additional queries: No additional queries are required for upgrades.

Additional comments:

Sites on the development version with a large amount of form submission activity may be advised to perform an offline upgrade, to prevent those using custom forms from getting errors while the upgrade is taking place.
