New Features
RSS Data Source Timestamp FIeld
Added to: 3.17.0 development, 3.16.3 stable
One field, out of those the RSS Data Source believes to be a Date field, can now be nominated to be converted into a UNIX timestamp and accessed with the %ds__timestamp% keyword.
The RSS Data Source asset will identify tags feed item-level tags containing the words "date" or "publish" as candidates for this feature.
Proxy Asset Functionality in Listings
Added to: 3.17.0 development, 3.16.3 stable
The Proxy Asset functionality, previously in Search Page, has now been moved to the Listing Engine. This feature allows a listing to match a certain asset type, but list another related asset type instead.
This is related to the previous feature somewhat: for example, you can now list data sources (such as RSS ones), but show data records (eg. feed items) instead, via proxy.
Listing Engine: Sort By Keyword
Added to: 3.17.0 development, 3.16.3 stable
The Listing Engine can now be sorted by any specified asset keyword. If an asset has this keyword, it will be sorted according to its value, otherwise it will be added to the bottom of the list.

Notes:
Bug #2759 ("%instance_start_datetime% keyword not working for recurring calendar events in asset listing", reported by Rayn Ong on 14th November) was marked as Not a Bug. The Event Instance keywords refer to the time/date of the current instance of a recurring event, based on the date sent to a Calendar Page through the SQ_CALENDAR_DATE variable. As such, instance dates and times are not generally applicable in an asset listing context.
Bug #2762 ("Source string error on the Account Manager Page", reported by Deborah Sherwood on 15th November) had already been fixed last week as bug #2752 ("Source string not found", reported by Nitin Bhradwaj on 8th November). The latest bug has been marked as a duplicate and closed.
