New MySource Matrix Releases on Monday
Just a heads up that MySource Matrix versions 3.16.1 and 3.14.5 will be released next Monday, 8th October. These releases are predominantly for bug fixes. One significant feature (Global Asset-Specific Keywords) will be added.
Bulkmail Package: PEAR Mail_Queue Compatibility Issue
This message is for system administrators managing systems running the Squiz Supported version of MySource Matrix, that use the Bulkmail package.
After a long hiatus, version 1.2.1 of the Mail_Queue PEAR module was released last month. However, it has been found to break some of the supporting code for the Bulkmail package in current versions of MySource Matrix, due to certain parameter changes.
The Bulkmail code has been updated in the 3.16.1 and 3.14.5 versions of MySource Matrix, to be released on Monday, so that it will work on both the newer 1.2.1 and the long-standing 1.1.3 versions of the Mail_Queue PEAR module.
In the meantime, you may consider downgrading your Mail_Queue module to the 1.1.3 version, if other applications on the system do not require it. You can also contact your Squiz account manager to schedule an upgrade to the new 3.16.1 or 3.14.5 versions once they are available from Monday afternoon.

Notes:
Bug #2674 ("_admin/?SQ_BACKEND_PAGE=resizer# does not collapse asset map", reported by nnhubbard on 29th September) was marked as a Duplicate of Bug #2597 ("You cannot hide the asset map once you have changed its width", reported by Deborah Sherwood on 30th August). The fix is due to be released in the 3.16.1 and 3.14.5 versions on Monday. The duplicate bug report has been closed.
