New Features
RTF File Asset
Added to: 3.17.0 development
A new RTF File asset has been created, that will handle documents in Rich Text Format (.rtf extension). Aside from the type restriction, this asset type otherwise acts the same as a normal File asset.
Purge Trash Script: Optional Purge Root
Added to: 3.17.0 development
The purge_trash.php script now accepts an extra parameter - the ID of an asset currently in the trash. If provided, only this asset and their children will be purged, instead of the entire trash If this extra argument is omitted, the entire trash will be purged as usual.

Notes:
Bug #2670 ("Recurring Calendar Events only display in first month", reported by Daniel Nitsche on September 26th) could not be replicated by two developers and therefore has been marked as Can Not Replicate.
Bug #2705 ("Global keyword: asset_link doesn't work in bulkmail job", reported by Daniel Nitsche on October 15th) was marked as Not a Bug. The bug report suggested an incorrect URL being created from an "Asset Link" design variable, when a design is used as part of a bulkmailed asset. In this situation, the "full_url" attribute should be used with the variable, because it will use a relative path otherwise, which makes no sense in the context of an e-mail viewer's window.
Bug #2706 ("If menu level chose in customization, subs only go 2 levels", reported by nnhubbard on October 16th) was marked as Not a Bug as it was resolved by further configuring the design in question.
Bug #2716 ("Asset Map and Firefox version 1.0.4", reported by Jessica Getty on October 19th) was reported as Not a Bug. The bug in question suggested that attempting to drag the Asset Map to the right will produce a screen filled with purple stripes. The Asset Map cannot be resized this way (the middle pane can be clicked for showing and hiding the Asset Map), and what is being resized is actually this middle pane, resulting in multiple printing of its background image.
