New Features
Listing Engine Improvements
Added to: 3.19.0 development, 3.18.0 stable, 3.16.6 stable
There are two new features added to Asset Listing-related assets, both dynamic parameter related:
- Listing Engine assets now expose a new "Session" dynamic parameter variable, "list_current_asset_id". This can be used in a nested asset listing (or theoretically, any other asset that supports dynamic parameters) to use the asset ID currently being listed as the input into a dynamic parameter.
- Asset Listing Page assets now have a new dynamic parameter that essentially acts as a "Replacement Asset IDs to Include" option. If this dynamic parameter is specified, then the full list of assets that would normally be listed are replaced with this replacement list.
However, these replacement assets must still satisfy all other criteria for listing - in other words, if they would not have been listed normally, they will not be listed when passed as replacement asset IDs.

Notes:
Bug #2885 ("Trigger assetid reference fails for redirect pages created with an Asset Builder Page", reported by asprott on 15th February) was marked as Not a Bug. The ID of the asset used in the "Current Asset" option in the parameter map refers to the asset currently being displayed on the front-end - similar to other parameter maps in MySource Matrix - rather than the asset that the trigger is executing upon.
