New Features

JS API: Lookups updated when performing webpath actions

Added to: 3.27.0 development

JS API functions which manipulate or remove asset links, as given below, will update related lookups to ensure these actions are completed in accordance with normal backend operation.

The modified JS API functions are moveLinks(), trashAsset(), removeLink(), createLink().

Implementations should include an "in progress" or spinner device as these actions will take some time to complete and return.

Notes:

The following bugs were re-opened in response to additional comments suggesting further replication of issues:

  • Bug #3654: Asset listing with link value not returning results when direction set to up the tree
  • Bug #3918: PHP notices from invalid apparent keywords in metadata
  • Bug #4124: Calendar Page Asset not listing single calendar event assets with a time

Bug #4147 ("WYSIWYG popup windows appearing behind the main screen in Firefox", reported 21st Jan by apalitsyn) was marked "Can not replicate" after no further information was received in the requested timeframe. This bug could not be replicated previously with the information supplied.

Bug #4192 ("Multiple Text Field outputs wrong format", reported 16th Feb by Julz) was marked "Not a Bug". This was found to be a mistake in the related documentation rather than Matrix itself.

Bug #4196 ("PHP Warning occurs when adding new trigger (with asset_types.inc removed)", reported 18th Feb by ata) was marked "Not a Bug". This file should always be present on a working system, and the warning provided may be indicative of other issues.

Bug #4198 ("IP Restriction screen not accepting valid network address", reported 19th Feb by rmacdonald) was marked "Not a Bug". The User IP condition strictly enforces that the "Network IP Address" be the network portion (or starting address) of a subnet. The IP address used by the reporter was not a valid starting address.
