News
New Year, New Matrix Releases next Monday
We welcome 2010 with two new releases of MySource Matrix, due next Monday 11th January. Versions 3.24.4 and 3.26.0 - the first stable release of 3.26 - will be made available on that day.
New Features
Workflow Bundles (previously "Asset Bundles")
Added to: 3.26.0 stable, 3.27.0 development
Workflow Bundles allows a group of assets to be taken into Workflow and approved in batches. Assets without an associated Workflow Schema are placed "Up for Review".
This asset can be found under the "Schemas" sub-menu in the Asset Map.
Workflow Streams, introduced into 3.26.x last month, can be assigned to a Bundle by an Administrator of the Bundle, in order to control the Workflow path taken.
Planned Development
No new generic features are currently scheduled for development.

Notes:
Bug #4094 ("getChildren returns unexpected shadow assets even there is type code restriction", reported Dec 15th by ewang) was marked "Will not fix". The code for getChildren() is core to correct operation of MySource Matrix and well-established, so this will not be changed. Individual instances where this occurs such as scripts or implementations will need to filter unwanted assets if this is an issue.
