Summary

This feature is not scheduled for release

Problem Definition

Currently, moving an asset to trash will display a simple warning "Are you sure you want to move the asset "Test Asset" to Trash?". Clicking yes will move the selected asset link to the Trash. Some of the users believe that moving the asset to trash removes the asset from their system. However, this is not the case when the asset is linked to multiple assets (e.g. multiple site assets). Only way to find out if an asset is linked to multiple locations is by checking its linking screen.

Technical Specification

Asset Map Trash Asset Dialog

A new Trash Asset dialog will be displayed when a single asset with multiple links is being moved to the trash. The new trash asset dialog will have a Move All Instances check box. If this check box is selected then Matrix will move all instances of the selected asset to the Trash.
