Introduction
The Portal module provides the Remote Content tool, which is a screen scraper application that allows third party web-enabled applications to be integrated with MySource Matrix.
Remote Content
The Remote Content page allows you to embed the contents of an external web site within the design of your own site. The links within the external page can be modified automatically to ensure that a visitor is not directed away from your site.
You can specify a user name and password for HTTP authentication with the embedded site, and even define start and end tags to specify that content on the remote page between the tags will be discarded. You can use this feature to strip off the design component of the remote page, to simplify its look when nested in your site.
