Squiz Server
Introduction
The Squiz Server speeds up processing by running the HIPO Jobs directly on the server while still showing the progress of the task to the user.
At times, MySource Matrix must perform highly intensive processes to perform functions such as cascading permissions or setting workflow. In these cases, Highly Intensive Processing Object (HIPO) Jobs are used to perform the action, allowing the user to see the progress of the task as it is performed. For large systems, these jobs can take quite a while.
The Squiz Server increases the performance of these highly intensive processes by running the HIPO Jobs directly on the server.
