Bookmarks Release Date

The second Release Candidate of the upcoming version was released this week. The Community site has been running on this RC version for the latest few days without any issues and all other upgrade tests have passed as well.

We've now set the release date for both and for Monday, 3rd July.

Keep an eye out for the announcement including the release notes which will also be published on the same day.

Poll Results

This month we were asking you what format you'd prefer for Tutorials to be in; Articles or Videos.

The result was pretty even with with Videos taking out 55% of the vote and Articles getting 45%.

The main reason for this poll question was to gauge the interest in video tutorials which we've been planning on producing more of. It seems people are pretty keen on seeing these so we will making an effort in producing some more video content for educational purposes.

Keep an eye on on the site for the next Poll of the Month which will be up on the first day of July.

Power of Squiz Matrix 5.4 Webinar Recording

At the start of this month I hosted a technical webinar covering how to get the most out of Squiz Matrix 5.4. This covered things like the keyword, Server Side JS, Edge Side Includes, and more.

The recording of it was published in the media section for those of you who missed it or want to re-watch it.

We'd love to hear your feedback on this webinar to see how we can improve them moving forwards as we hold more of these in the future. So please, drop a line using the feedback form on the site or put a comment on the forums with your thoughts.

Coloured Feature Box Template

This month we also added a new Content Template for download. It's a Coloured Feature Box template which allows users to easily and intuitively edit the text areas of the content area by simply clicking into the text and editing it.

It also comes with three different metadata configuration options and is easy to extend to match your own site's specific design requirements.

Check it out and download for free from the Content Templates section of the site.
