A Bulkmail User is able to receive emails through Bulkmail Jobs. In contrast to Users, Backend Users, System Administrators and the Root user, Bulkmail Users cannot log into a members section of your Site or your Squiz Matrix system.

Tip: The email address for a Bulkmail User must be unique to your system. Squiz Matrix will not allow you to add the Bulkmail User if its not unique.

Once your Bulkmail User is created, you can configure its settings on its associated asset screens. The majority of these screens are the same or similar to those for a Standard Page and are described in the Asset Screens manual. In this chapter, we will describe the Details screen, which is different for a Bulkmail User.

Details Screen

The Details screen for a Bulkmail User allows you to edit the users details. For more information about the Status and Future Status section of the screen, refer to the Details Screen chapter in the Asset Screens manual.

Details

This section allows you to change the details of the Bulkmail User.

The fields available are as follows:

• Email: by default, the email that was entered into the Email field when the Bulkmail User will appear in this field. You can change the email by clicking into this field and entering the new Email for the Bulkmail User. The email address entered into this field is used to send the email to.
• Name: by default, the email that was entered into the Name field when the Bulkmail User will appear in this field. You can change the name by clicking into this field and entering the new Name for the Bulkmail User.
