Last Updated: 28 Jun 2023
This entire manual refers to a feature that was added in version 5.1.0
A Google Analytics View asset represents a single view (profile) in your Google Analytics account. You can use this asset to display reports and summaries of the data of your site.
These assets are created once a connection to a Google Analytics application has been established via the Google Analytics Connector and an available view is selected.

Once created, you can configure the settings of the Google Analytics View on its associated asset screens. These screens are often the same or similar to those for a Standard Page and are described in the Asset Screens manual.
In this chapter, we will describe the Details, Summary, Content, Audience, Goals and Experiments screens, which are different for the Google Analytics Connector asset.
Once a Google Analytics View asset has been created, it can be moved freely around your system.
Details Screen
The Details screen for the Google Analytics View asset allows you to set the Google Analytics Connector asset and the view to use for the asset.

Connector and View
The Connector and View section of the Details screen allows you to set the Google Analytics Connector and the view to use for the asset.
The fields available are outlined below. If you have created your Google Analytics View asset via a Google Analytics Connector asset with an established connection, these fields will already be set with the specification used when creating this asset.
- Select Connector: select the Google Analytics Connector asset to use on the asset. This will determine the views available to use on the Google Analytics View. To select a connector, click the Change button and select the connector asset from the asset map.
- Select View: once you have specified a Google Analytics Connector with an established connection to your Google Analytics application, a list of available views will be displayed in this field.
